Annual conference 2014: International Cooperation in Archival Education

The Section on Archival Education and Training (SAE) held the conference International Cooperation in Archival Education in Girona Friday, October 10 2014. The conference had attracted speakers from all over the world and provided participants with an opportunity to join in exciting discussions about cooperation in education for today and tomorrow.

Following ICA’s increasing emphasis on the developing world, the SAE is organising a series of regional conferences for educators and trainers in the field of archives and records management. The project was proposed by Margaret Crockett in 2000 and till now several conferences have been carried out.
